Our community association has formally adopted the following Plazas through the City of Oakland’s Adopt a Spot program:
Jasper P. Driver Plaza. This small plaza is located at our northern border and is surrounded by Adeline, Genoa, and 61st Streets and Stanford Avenue. It is named after Jasper P. Driver who formerly lived at 888 – 59th Street.
Helen MacGregor Plaza Park. This a small plaza is located at our southern border and is located in the triangular area of Martin Luther King Jr Way and West and 52nd Street. This Plaza was named in honor of Helen R. MacGregor.
Our Beautification Committee holds regular monthly cleanups. We are always seeking volunteers to help out, please contact our Beautification Co-Chair Nate Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org.
