Juniper is a good candidate for enterprises desiring high throughput at low cost and advanced routing support, and for those combining security and networking purchases. Ease of management, branch office offerings and software-defined secure network (SDSN) technology are also positives.

Product Description
Juniper is considered a Niche Player by Gartner. The Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways adapt as new threats emerge, using information from Juniper Sky Advanced Threat Prevention cloud-based service and third-party GeoIP feeds to block malicious activities as they enter or traverse the network. They provide application visibility and control, IPS, and user-based application policies, plus unified threat management (UTM) to protect and control business assets. The gateways can also perform deep-packet inspection (DPI) and apply role-based access policies.
Features
Security and performance: No rating. NSS Labs said it was unable to test Juniper’s firewalls and urged a comprehensive evaluation before purchasing.
Value: Very Good. Users generally report good value for their money, but that low price tag might not come with all the advanced features they’d like to have.
Implementation: Very good. Most users say Juniper’s firewalls are easy to implement, and one even called the implementation process “fun.”
“Implementation was easy and the value was great,” said one InfoSec manager.
Management: Very good. Some find the management features complicated, but most users are generally pleased with the firewalls’ management and dependability.
“Junipers are rock-solid devices that just work,” said one engineer.

Delivery
Appliances, software, private and public clouds are supported. The mode of delivery ranges from all-in-one, integrated physical and virtual security networking devices to scalable, chassis-based data center solutions.
